Donate baby items
Our baby boutique is filled with beautiful clothes, layette items, diapers, baby wipes, baby blankets, and toys. We are accepting used, clean baby items for our boutique. Maternity clothes are welcome too!
Throw a Baby Shower
We’ve had local groups host a baby shower for Helping Hands. It’s a fun way to be generous and blessing local families. Don’t you love shopping for babies?
Craftsy?
Quilting and sewing groups have donated some exquisite blankets, sun bonnets, mittens, caps, and clothes for these beautiful babies. Moms just love these handmade items for their babies.
Bike for Babies!
Every year, our motorcyclist supporters have a fun(d)raiser for us. The Bikers for Christ last had a Bike Blessing on June 1, 2024, with a Rise and Shine Bike Show, breakfast, music, raffle prizes, lunch, and silent auction. Find out more at their website.
Wash baby clothes for some sweet smelling aromas
Our donated baby clothes need freshening up. Here’s where you can help out with your washing machine and get to see cute children’s clothes in the process. One of our volunteers even ironed the cute dresses!!
Create a Senior Project for Moms and Babies
We’ve had local high school seniors develop some ingenious fund raising projects for us. A great way to build a generous spirit.
Like to host parties?
Each October, we have a scrumptious banquet and guest speaker. All monies raised at the banquet goes toward the ministry. Donations are welcome to sponsor the evening. Watch for the October banquet dates in Oakhurst and Mariposa. It’s an inspiring evening to see the local body of Christ come together.
Ever see some great baby items at garage sales?
Our toddlers are eager to play with fun formerly loved toys on our shelves. Our volunteers spruce up gently used toys and clothes to bless those babies.
Fill a baby bottle with loose change
Every year we have a baby bottle fundraising event through local churches in Oakhurst and Mariposa. Save your change (paper money and checks work too) and fill up the bottles for Helping Hands.

You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect when facing an unplanned pregnancy. This can be a frightening time, but know you are not alone. Our team is ready to help you.
